In August the Chiefs and people of Liati-Wote celebrate their Tsikeke Festival. It is a festival to thank the Almighty God for being kind enough to them by providing them a perennial waterfall and a mountain/land that provides good soil as their source of livelihood. They thank God for their unique gift. A competitive hike to both the falls and the mountain is held to prelude a grand durbar of chiefs and the people on a Saturday which usually attracts tourists from far and near.
